That\u2019s why, this past Sunday, a team made up of colleagues, along with family and friends, took part in the 12th edition of the \u201cMadrid en Marcha Contra el C\u00e1ncer\u201d race \u2014 a solidarity event organized by the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"900\">This race is not only one of the most important fundraising events on Madrid\u2019s calendar, but also a powerful opportunity to unite in the fight against a disease that affects millions of people around the world.<\/p>\r\n<h3 data-start=\"902\" data-end=\"927\">A Route of Solidarity<\/h3>\r\n<p data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"1187\">More than 27,000 people gathered in central Madrid to run or walk in support of cancer research and prevention. The day kicked off and ended in Plaza de Col\u00f3n, with two routes available \u2014 a 4K and a 10K \u2014 both running along the iconic Paseo de la Castellana.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1189\" data-end=\"1469\">From early in the morning, the city was filled with a vibrant sea of green shirts symbolizing support for the cause. Among them were METRICA\u2019s participants, once again showing that our company is about more than just technology \u2014 we are people who care deeply about our community.<\/p>\r\n<h3 data-start=\"1471\" data-end=\"1520\">METRICA\u2019s Commitment to Health and Well-Being<\/h3>\r\n<p data-start=\"1522\" data-end=\"1754\">At METRICA, we promote the importance of a healthy lifestyle both in and out of the workplace. Taking part in events like this one is part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and to the well-being of our team.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1756\" data-end=\"1915\">Beyond competition, the race was a chance to enjoy a day of camaraderie and shared effort, embodying key values such as perseverance, resilience, and teamwork.<\/p>\r\n<h3 data-start=\"1917\" data-end=\"1944\">Relive the Best Moments<\/h3>\r\n<p data-start=\"1946\" data-end=\"2193\">The energy and excitement of the event were captured in photos and videos shared on our social media. METRICA\u2019s participation in the Madrid en Marcha Contra el C\u00e1ncer race is yet another demonstration of our dedication to causes that truly matter.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2195\" data-end=\"2397\">We\u2019d like to thank everyone who joined this initiative and the AECC for making such an essential event possible.
