Sergio discovered his passion for technology at a young age. His first experiences came through video game programming and the creative digital culture of the demoscene, which sparked his long‑term interest in software development.
This early motivation led him to pursue a degree in Technical Engineering in Computer Systems, laying the foundation for a professional career focused on development, innovation, and continuous improvement.
From Internships to Full‑Stack Development
After completing his studies, Sergio began his professional journey through internships and scholarship programs, gaining hands‑on experience in real technological environments. This phase enabled him to secure his first role as a programmer, working on desktop applications and database‑driven systems.
From Zaragoza to Madrid, his career progressed project by project, steadily expanding his technical skills and responsibilities.
Professional Growth and Evolution at METRICA
In 2005, Sergio joined METRICA, starting a period of specialization in web applications and services, as well as in relational databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
Over the years, he has contributed to high‑impact projects involving:
